When I was looking for a college, I wish I had been told...

that it's okay to be excited. It's okay to not feel homesick and be excited about living independently. I have always been an independent person and I could not wait to be on my own. Don't get my wrong, I love and miss my parents and they did not in the slightest hinder that excitement, but I sometimes felt guilty about being one of the only students who was not homesick. It is okay to be independent and it is okay to call college your home :)

My favorite thing about Grove City College is...

the relationship between the professors and students. They really try to get to know us with personal meals and house visits. I always know my professors have an open door to pray with me and give me great advice.
