I dreamt of going to a college that was unique, curious, lively, and welcoming. Tulane gave me that magical feeling and two years later, I can honestly say choosing Tulane was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
Oyster Festival! This is my first summer in New Orleans, so I just experienced my first Oyster Fest as a wonderful kickoff to a summer full of incredible seafood! Any festival at Woldenberg Park on the river is usually full of food, dancing, and music, so it is hard to ever go wrong!
Healthcare Systems with Professor Mollye Demosthenidy. I am a Public Health Major and find the topic of healthcare so interesting, and Professor Demothenidy made me love the topic even more. She is funny, bright, and just goes the extra mile for her students!
I am a big runner, so I like to explore the city through that lens. Besides the beautiful Uptown neighborhoods, my favorite "destination runs" include Cafe Du Monde, Camellia Grill, the Lakefront, and of course, Audubon Park. When I'm not in running shoes, I love exploring the arts district, sculpture gardens, and the best spot of all: a seat on the streetcar to see where it will take me on a sunny Saturday.
