I wanted a school that prioritized not only academics but community engagement. Additionally, I am interested in studying education policy and New Orleans has one of the most unique education systems in the country. I knew coming to Tulane would provide me with the resources and environment I needed to pursue my interests.
My favorite class so far has been Education in a Diverse Society. I learned so much about the New Orleans education shift after Hurricane Katrina and had the opportunity to work in a New Orleans school.
