IDEV: Women and Development in Kenya. I loved getting the chance to take a closer look into East-African historical development. My professor was Gwen Thompkins, the NPR Representative for East Africa. Not only was her voice incredibly smooth, she also had a wealth of experience to draw from and allowed the class to work outside on the A-Quad most afternoons.

From the beginning, it was evident that Tulane would inspire me to work my hardest, open up new doors in my academic and extracurricular careers, and allow me to enjoy every second of my undergraduate experience. It's easy to observe how close-knit the Tulane community is by watching friends exchange hellos or laugh together on their way to class- I just couldn't wait to join in!
