I chose Tulane because of the warm, welcoming and supportive atmosphere the university embodies. The way in which each student has the ability to find something that interests them and have a supportive staff is incredible. The smiling faces of students walking to and from class, the myriad of resources provided to each individual, and the opportunity for leadership, service, and new initiatives allowed me to feel confident in choosing Tulane.
My favorite spots in New Orleans are Satsuma on Maple Street for a wonderful brunch, Magazine Street for shopping and ice cream, and Audubon Park for a fun afternoon walk. Going into the French Quarter with my friends or to Frenchmen Street to listen to jazz bands is also a personal favorite!
