My favorite spots in New Orleans are...

My favorite spots mostly revolve around food. I love the The High Hat Cafe, Toast and Cafe du Monde. However, I also love the grassy and scenic areas around New Orleans like The Fly which is a spot in Audobon Park that students frequent to look at the sunset over the river.

My favorite NOLA festival is...

My favorite festivals have got to be tied between Voodoo Fest and Beignet Fest. I love Halloween more than any holiday and Voodoo Fest combines the spirit of Halloween with the music and overall culture of New Orleans. Beignet Fest makes me extremely happy as I spend the day eating various beignets from a line of New Orleans restaurants and food trucks!

I chose Tulane because...

I chose Tulane because I fell in love with the city of New Orleans and the opportunities that Tulane could give me. I had my "a-ha" moment right outside of Flower Hall as I saw a future version of myself walking across Freret and on my way to my classes. I also loved that I could go in completely undecided with the resources like my academic advisor to help me fill my requirements when the time comes. I absolutely love it here.

Favorite Tulane class/professor...

My favorite class so far has been Dinosaurs with Professor Agnew. This is just one example of the wide range of classes that Tulane has to offer. I love Dinosaurs and Prof. Agnew is the kindest teacher I've ever head and his lectures are a blast.
