From the second I walked onto campus, I knew this was the place for me! I was immediately taken back by a sense of genuine happiness in the students as I made my rounds around campus. When choosing a college, the most important thing to ask yourself is, can I see myself being happy and able to prosper in this environment for the next four years? Because of this, I decided to go Early Decision. Tulane was also my top choice because we are located in the city of New Orleans. This factor made Tulane stand out compared to other schools I visited because it would give me the opportunity to explore a new city full of culture and variety of things to do. Additionally, the academic flexibility to switch between different schools and the Goldman Center for student Assaibilty helped me make the best decision of my life!

My favorite class is Psychology 1000, taught by Professor Melinda Fabian. Not only does the professor explain the material in an active, clear and engaging way, but she also makes sure that we understand how this material can benefit us outside of the world of academia. I have learned things about the environment we live in and myself that will help understand and live a better life.
