I chose Tulane because...

I saw college as my chance to get out of my comfort zone and explore my interests, and I saw Tulane and New Orleans as the perfect place to do this. There is truly no other city like New Orleans, and the atmosphere at Tulane showed me immediately that the accepting mindset of the students and University would provide me an entirely rewarding and absolutely unrestrictive college experience.

Favorite Tulane class/professor...

My favorite course I have taken thus far at Tulane was called How Should One Live? and it was taught by Molly Travis. It was a wonderful discussion based forum that allowed for a lot of thought-provoking classes. Additionally, Professor Travis is incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much of her unique thought with the class.

My favorite NOLA festival is...

Voodoo Fest. I have been to a fair variety of music festivals and Voodoo Fest stands out as the most unique. There is something amazing about New Orleans in general during Halloween time, so seeing the over the top way the city celebrates Halloween paired with an incredible music festival is unbeatable.

I'm passionate about...
