Workshops designed to create
lasting impressions
Hands-on training that helps student ambassadors learn how to connect authentically with prospective students and their families.
Let's ConnectSpark connection.
Our workshops are designed to transform student leaders and staff from tour guides into hosts and storytellers who create belonging from the very first interaction. Rooted in hospitality, each session equips your team to turn ordinary tours into meaningful moments that influence decisions, confidence, and long-term success.
MARV® Storytelling Workshop
Helping students see where they will thrive.
Students don't choose colleges based on facts alone. They choose based on where they can imagine a meaningful life. The MARV® framework of Meaning, Accomplishment, Relationships, and Vitality gives ambassadors a powerful lens for communicating what life on campus truly feels like.
Grounded in research on well-being and fulfillment, this workshop helps student leaders move beyond surface-level information to stories that illuminate how students grow, connect, and flourish.
Participants learn how to recognize MARV® in their own experiences, translate it into authentic storytelling, and communicate it in ways that resonate deeply with prospective students and families. They develop skills for thoughtful Q&A, purposeful messaging, and reflective listening, all designed to help visitors evaluate not just whether they can attend your institution, but whether they will thrive there.
By equipping ambassadors with a framework to communicate growth, belonging, and purpose, institutions gain a more consistent and compelling visit experience across every tour, panel, and interaction. Prospective students leave not only informed, but with a clearer sense of fit, leading to stronger emotional connection, increased confidence in their decision, and ultimately, more meaningful enrollment outcomes.
The result is a team of ambassadors who can articulate the real value of your campus community: not just what students do here, but who they become here.
Living in the Wow Workshop
Extraordinary hospitality for the campus visit.
A campus visit is more than a tour. It is often the first glimpse of a student’s future and the first test of whether they feel welcomed.
"Living in the Wow" introduces ambassadors and staff to the principles of exceptional hospitality and how small, intentional actions can create lasting emotional impact. Participants learn to listen with curiosity, notice unspoken needs, and respond in ways that make each visitor feel personally cared for.
Rather than teaching performance, this workshop cultivates presence, the ability to engage authentically, adapt to different personalities, and create moments that feel genuine rather than scripted. Teams explore how everyday interactions, from greetings to goodbyes, shape a visitor’s perception of the entire institution.
Led by Welcome to College founder Justin Bayer, this experience leaves participants not only inspired but equipped with practical behaviors they can apply immediately and skills that will serve them long after their time as ambassadors.
Because extraordinary experiences are not accidents. They are the result of intentional care, practiced consistently.
