My favorite class was the Introduction to Macroeconomics class. The professor was from Spain which was the first connection I felt with him. This means that UT has not only a diverse community of students, but also of professors. He did not just talk about the situation in the United States, but he analyzed many other world economies which was what I liked the most. The fact that the class was really small (30 students) made me feel more comfortable to participate in class and to feel interested about the topic.
One of my favorite spots is the Riverwalk, which is a 2 to 3 mile walk that goes by the Hillsborough River. This place is amazing to go running or just to go for a walk. People also do water sports and many other things in the river. Another place that I love is Clearwater Beach. This the most beautiful beach in the United States, and I can definitely prove it. It is just 30 minutes away from campus. I always go during the weekend and there are many restaurants and activities to do.
The first one is to successfully graduate from college with an Economics and Finance major. I want to start working in my field, which could be in a bank or as a financial analyst. After I gain experience in the professional filed, I will return back to Venezuela and start working towards the implementation of a new economy model which is going to help improve the economical and political situation that my country is going through right now. My second life goal is to go to graduate school in Europe and get a superior degree in International Politics.
Tampa is a diverse city. Giving the fact that I am from Venezuela it is really important for me to be surrounded of people that is going through the same situation as I am. Tampa is also a beautiful city full of fun things to do and a lot of great work opportunities.
