Alumnus at The University of Tampa
Class of 2021
Current: Sebago, ME
Major: Marine Science- Biology
Minor: Spanish and Sustainability
I aspire to work in a research lab regarding climate change effects on marine life and ecosystems and to include a program that brings children into the lab to teach them the importance of our efforts of sustainability and conservation.
I chose Tampa because the location is something that I was not used to as I am from a small town in Maine and the marine science program that was offered here at the school was invaluable as it offered many undergraduate research opportunities.
My favorite class and professor here at the university was biology II with Dr. Middlebrooks because he also gave us interesting fun facts about what we were learning as well as enabling us to understand a lot about the animal phyla within science.
I enjoy discovering new places to eat and walk around, so far my favorites being Hyde Park and Downtown.
