Bowie State University group campus tours (for high schools and community groups) are held Monday-Friday at 10:00 a.m. or 2:00 p.m. The campus tour will include main buildings and attractions on campus as well as information about the admissions criteria, academics, and student life.
To better accommodate you, we ask that you request your visit at least two weeks in advance.
Select a date on the calendar highlighted in blue to request your visit. If there are not any times listed on the day you would like to visit that means tours are not available on that date.
Complete the registration form to schedule your visit. You will receive a confirmation email with tour details and specifics.
Some dates may be unavailable to accommodate visits (i.e. midterm and final exam weeks, winter break, spring break, holidays, etc.)
Tours will be cancelled in extreme weather conditions i.e. excessive heat, cold or other conditions.
Group Lunch Accommodations
Group lunches must be coordinated in advance through Thompson Hospitality Dining Hall Manager. Details will provided in your email confirmation.
Small groups are always welcome to take self-guided tours of the campus, if you are unable to visit during one of our scheduled times. The Office of Admissions staff can provide a campus map and brochure for self-guided tours.
Please note that due to certain weather conditions, our office may modify or cancel campus tours. Tours will be cancelled in extreme weather conditions i.e. excessive heat, cold or other conditions. If the campus is closed for inclement weather or any other reason, all tours may be cancelled for the day. In the event of a campus closure, a Bulldog Ambassador or the Campus Tour Coordinator will contact you as soon as possible to reschedule your tour.
