What do you know now that you wish you had known your first year at ASU?

Going to college, I think its important to understand how much ASU students and support want you to succeed and find a home on campus. There are so many different opportunities to get involved and meet new people and I realized this over my first semester how welcoming of a community ASU has, and the importance of putting yourself out there and getting involved to gain the greatest experiences of your life.

Why did you choose to attend Arizona State University?

I wanted to go to a university where I could pursue a nursing degree and explore opportunities through the school to gain new experiences and perspectives about the world, as well as meet new lifelong friends, and I love the sunshine here in Arizona and the change of landscape from the midwest.

What is your favorite event, activity or club at ASU?

I love attending the sports games at ASU, because I feel like its a great way for all students to come together and represent the maroon and gold and root for the sun devils. I love going to the basketball games because their is so much excitement and the camaraderie between students always makes it feel like everyone is part of the team!
