What do you know now that you wish you had known your first year at ASU?

Looking back, I wish I had known the importance of proactively exploring and leveraging the resources available at ASU. From career services to networking events, there are so many opportunities to gain experience and build connections, but it’s easy to overlook them in the busyness of adjusting to university life. I also wish I had realized sooner how important it is to balance academics with campus involvement—joining clubs, attending events, and networking can enhance your personal and professional growth in ways that go far beyond the classroom. Lastly, understanding that asking for help—whether from professors, advisors, or peers—is a strength, not a weakness, would have made my transition much smoother.

What is your favorite event, activity or club at ASU?

My favorite activity at ASU is participating in the Indian Students' Association (ISA). It’s a wonderful way to stay connected to my cultural roots while sharing Indian traditions with a diverse audience. I particularly enjoy organizing and attending events that showcase Indian music, dance, and festivals, as they create a sense of belonging and community on campus. Additionally, I value my involvement with Thunderbird Women in Business, which has been instrumental in fostering leadership and professional growth through networking and mentorship opportunities. Both experiences have enriched my time at ASU by blending cultural expression with career development.

What is your dream job?

My dream job is to become an Indian film director, combining my passion for storytelling with a deep appreciation for the cultural and emotional depth that cinema can convey. I aspire to create films that not only entertain but also challenge perspectives, inspire change, and celebrate the richness of human experiences. Through this role, I want to bridge cultures and tell stories that resonate globally, making a meaningful impact on audiences while staying true to my artistic vision.

Why did you choose to attend Arizona State University?

I chose to attend Arizona State University because of its commitment to innovation, diverse academic opportunities, and strong global reputation. As someone passionate about international trade and cross-cultural communication, ASU offers a unique platform to connect with peers and professionals from around the world. The Thunderbird School of Global Management and its focus on global leadership particularly resonated with my career aspirations. Additionally, ASU’s vibrant campus life, excellent resources,
