My advice for prospective students is to plan ahead. Plan ahead with your course registration, in your classes, as well as in your free time.

What makes UMBC home?

For me, what makes UMBC home is the people. Ever since I first came here I have felt welcome in the community and found many people with similar interests who I have made friends with.

My most memorable UMBC experience was...

The Homecoming Bonfire my first year was amazing. I had never seen a fire that big and everyone was gathered around watching it. It's also fun walking by the field in the days before and see the wood being piled up.

Favorite Spot on Campus

My favorite spot has to be the Retriever Activity Center, or the RAC for short. I love it because you can do so many physical activities there, whether its playing a sport or using the weight room.
