My biggest goal in life is to be a professional performer. I truly do want to make it to Broadway one day. I also want to continue teaching and helping people in the exercise community by hopefully opening my own personal training business and, eventually, opening a gym that focuses on training performers to condition their bodies for rigorous performing life through strength training.
My favorite class so far in my college career has been my Acting I class. I had an amazing professor and really grew as a performer and a person throughout the course. It was so hands on and the class environment was extremely supportive and always made me feel comfortable. The class also challenged me to step out of my comfort zone which was a push I definitely needed.
I chose Tampa for an extensive list of reasons. First, I instantly fell in love with the campus and the beauty of the city. I wanted to have that city experience with the traditional campus feel which is exactly what UT is.Tampa also offers an incredible Musical Theatre program which was my biggest deciding factor and had many options for minors for me to pick up along the way. Finally, I come from a family of alumni and have grown up loving the city and the school, I wanted to keep my life long Spartan pride in my family. And of course the beautiful weather.
