Undergraduate Student Government has been one of my favorite clubs so far. Just like Devils Advocate, it has allowed me to gain a sense of community, make changes, and connect with sun devils I wouldn’t normally have the opportunity to meet. To no surprise, a ton of my friends from USG have also join Advos, which I’m excited about.

Coming from out of state, I had no clue where I wanted to go or where I could see myself the next four years. After touring a not so favorable school down in Tucson, I stumbled onto ASUs campus. Although the food robots first caught my attention, I learned everyone at ASU wanted me to succeed and help me in my future endeavors. I now have a home here, with some of my best friends and favorite memories.
Despite the fact I’m still in my first year at ASU, I feel I have learned a lot my first semester. Coming to ASU forces you to push outside your comfort zone and helps you grow as a person. Although it may be hard at first, finding friends and starting over at a school this big helps you develop character and strengthens who you are as a person. By pushing yourself outside your comfort, it pays off in finding your part in the Sun Devil Community.
