My favorite thing about the College of Journalism is...

I am learning both hard and soft skills through direct hands-on learning! This school knows how to make its students successful and they WANT you to be successful too!

I chose UF because...

Obviously UF offers its students an amazing education - there's a huge alumni base, we're ranked in the top 5, and the resources you read about are endless. However, the thing that really makes UF special to me is that I can wear so many different hats here! I'm able to study media while also working in sports, lighting designing a theatrical show, studying business, and being a student here. Go Gators!!!

The coolest class I've ever taken was...

Fundamentals of Production! I get to go out every week with cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and more. I was shocked how the first day of class we were not only learning the gear, but taking it out to practice individually and getting time to review it with our instructor one-on-one - all within one day!!!

My dream job is...

I would love to produce one day! I'm still learning what I want to do but really I want to be a facilitator of art and most importantly make people happy while creating my own joy.
