What do you know now that you wish you had known your first year at ASU?

It's important to use this time to take chances and do things you aren't already comfortable with. Don't play it safe freshman year, join the organizations you think will be helpful, and reach out to the professors that you want to work with.

Why did you choose to attend Arizona State University?

ASU was the first university that I visited, and seeing all of the resources, the sense of community, the hugely diverse range of opportunities on campus, and the focus on inclusion rather than exclusion made me decide that ASU was the best choice.

What is your favorite event, activity or club at ASU?

My favorite organization is Alpha Kappa Psi, the co-ed professional business fraternity on campus. I have been involved with this organization since sophomore year, and it has provided so many opportunities to grow professionally and gain a large network of driven friends.
