Why did you choose Richmond?

As one of four sisters, I naturally value a sense of community and belonging, and Richmond fulfills those values and beyond. From the moment I stepped on campus, everyone had the biggest, most welcoming smile, and I could not have been surrounded by more genuine and kind admissions counselors, students, and faculty. In addition to the friendly atmosphere, Richmond has the perfect balance of spirit through campus activities and sports but also has the most academically motivated students. This school is not too big yet not too small. You will see a familiar face whenever you walk around campus, but there will always be someone who you haven't met yet. I've never seen a place where everyone works together to make sure everyone succeeds, which is rare to find at a prestigious university. All the professors are here for you, and every resource is centered around making students' experiences here on campus as enjoyable as possible. This place is truly so special.
