What makes UMBC home?

The people! I've made so many connections here. My friends are great and I've been fortunate to have many helpful professors that are always willing to chat not just about classwork, but about what it's like to work in my field.

Favorite Class or Professor and Why

I'm really loving my Typography class with Suzanne Marshall! She's clearly very knowledgeable about graphic design and she has a lot of experience working in the field. I'm learning a lot in her class about type history, current industry standards, and the most practical ways to approach designing with type.

Fun Fact

Comedian and actor Scott Seiss was a founding member of Dog Collar Comedy, UMBC's improv troupe that I am a part of!
